Information and support for the Eduserv Cloud

The Eduserv Education Cloud provides compute and storage infrastructure as a service (IaaS) for the UK HE and FE community using VMware technology. It is built on our Community Cloud Infrastructure, is directly connected to the JANET backbone at 10Gbit/s, and is based on what we learned from running the UMF Cloud Pilot (which was funded by HEFCE and supported by the JISC as part of the UMF Shared Services and the Cloud Programme). Usage is currently limited to organisations with a valid ac.uk email address.
